TEAM MISSION TRIPS TO UGANDA & SOUTH SUDAN

THE HOW, WHAT AND WHY OF A MISSION TRIP WITH THE MACHINE GUN PREACHER

Angels of East Africa have around 3-4 mission trips a year into Uganda and South Sudan. You'll get to vist the school feeding projects in and around Kampala and visit our house homes for our orphan children.

From there you will travel north to our projects, training centres and 1200 acre farm in Nwoya, Northern Uganda. This is where all our older teens and young adults are learning a skill or a trade

You'll then travel to Nimule, South Sudan and visit the Children's Village and school - this is the main orphanage for our children. We have around 80 children here who have mostly lost all their families as a result of being victims of war.

You'll have many opportunities to use your skills here like maybe teaching, carpentry, painting, ministering, working in the library, cooking or just simply being with our children.

Our children absoloutly love mission team visits - check out some of the videos and see what happens at the Childrens Village in Nimule, South Sudan . facebook.com/MachineGunPreacherSamChilders

We need you to tell us what your skills are and we'll put them to use at any, or possibly all, of our projects. Mission trips are usually around 12-16 days on the ground in Uganda and South Sudan - depending on what time of the year it is - Christmas & New Year being the biggest.

SO HOW DO I APPLY AND HOW MUCH DOES A MISSION TRIP COST

First things First:

Depending on which country you are from we'll need a background check - it has to be FBI (USA) or the usual federal Police background check.

This can all be done online using your  (driver's license, passport, or ID) - we will need this information along with all medical reports.  In the USA we recommend: National Background Check, Inc

The Cost of a Mission trip will vary, depending on the duration of the trip and time of year, and of course from which country or state you are flying. At MGP we have people coming in from all around the world to be involved, so prices can be different.

Included in the price of our Mission trips are flights (to and from Uganda) all accommodation, transport, security, water, etc. It does not cover any incidentals like your general hygiene products or personal items.

Please note Mission trip payments are non-refundable fpr any reason once you have paid. All major credit/debit cards are accepted & we do have payment plans to assist.

MACHINE GUN PREACHER - SAM CHILDERS SPEAKS ABOUT MISSION/PROJECT TRIPS TO UGANDA AND SOUTH SUDAN

Sam Childers (VIDEO) runs through what it's like to go and visit the projects and orphanages in Uganda and South Sudan.

All prices are subject to change, and keep in mind the time of year that you travel will also make a difference. Christmas is the busiest time to travel but it's also the time to see the best of things whilst travelling on any of the Mission trips.
